Fairfax 2026 Boundary Review Survey

—

1–2 minutes

The Fairfax County Public School system has been working on new boundaries to help resolve various issues such as overcrowding and attendance islands. While an initial plan was approved in January 2026, there was been continuing work that would address unresolved issues in the area and would impact Pine Spring, Timber Lane, and Graham.

After an initial meeting earlier in the year, the first proposal has been released.

We have been asked to take a poll of our community, ranking the options.

In addition to the four options presented, we have also included “none of the above” as well as “other.”

You can learn more about the plans here https://www.fcps.edu/form/greenway-downs-jefferson-village-city-park-homes-and-kingsley-commons-plus-glasgow-ms-boundary

We have directly been asked what our preferred scenarios are. Our previous survey was appreciated and we have been asked to do one again.

We are not expecting a unanimous agreement, but want to get a sense of what the community thinks and see if there is an overwhelming majority of opinion.
